In 1993, as a result of a strong belief in the purpose and power of quality family entertainment, Chris and Suzanne Shoemaker and
Patte Dee McKee co-founded the first International film festival dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of family films.
Celebrating its 11th anniversary in April 2005, this nonprofit festival continues to grow and expand its educational programs and reach to the US and International film communities.
